I grew up singing harmonies on the street corners of Philadelphia. I was discovered in the 1990's by Richard McGibony, a legendary song writer and producer. He was Johnny Cash's personal friend and wrote Cash's smash hit, the truck driving song, "Mont Eagle Mountain".
In 1998 I released my first CD, "Legends Never Die". Most of the songs on this CD were actually left for Elvis at "The House of Cash" by Richard McGibony.
Richard insisisted that I was the one to sing those songs. All of the recording sessions were done on the same equipment that Elvis used.
The CD was a huge success.
I was later contacted by CMA Legend Award Winning Producer, Cliffie Stone. Cliffie was Tennessee Ernie Ford's manager and the Vice President of Capitol Records. I recorded three songs for Cliffie, "Dancing In The Arms of A Memory", "A Little Sooner", and "Who's Rocking The Cradle". He came on my Radio Show to promote these songs and it turned out to be his last live interview before he passed away two weeks later.
When Cliffie Stone was given the Legend Award by North American Country Music Awards International after his untimely passing, I was invited to perform "Dancing In The Arms Of A Memory". Ginny Peters accepted the award for Cliffie.
God has given me a gift and I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with some Giants in the music industry.
